    Does the UV light really kill 99.9% of germs?

    Yes, the UV-C light our devices use is clinically proven to disinfect 99.9% of surface bacteria.

    How long does it take for the brush head to dry in the base?

    The brush head will dry within 2-6 hours, depending on room humidity and how much water remains on the brush head when placed in the base. Brush heads that are shaken off prior to docking will dry faster.

    There is a small silent heater in the base which warms the air in the chamber near the UV lamp. This creates a chimney effect where the warm air leaves the base around the 1 mm gap between the handle and the base, drying the brush head in the process.

    How long does the battery stay charged?

    The ONA handle is equipped with a long-life rechargeable battery that can last 2-4 weeks between charges with daily use.

    Using the Product

    How can I tell if the UV cleansing light is working properly?

    To test that the UV light is working, press the weight-activated foot on the base.  You should see a light blue/green glow emanating inside the base. The handle needs to be docked during this process if this doesn't work, please contact TAO Clean Customer Service at support@taoclean.com for assistance.

    How can I tell which brush mode I am in?

    To change brush modes, press the smaller button on the brush handle.  You should be able to hear/feel the difference in spin speed. The regular cleansing mode spins faster than the sensitive mode, allowing for deeper exfoliation.
